　　With the improvement of our living standard, more and more people canafford a car. As a result, our roads are more often than not crammed with cars.However, with more and more waste gas being discharged by the cars, the problemof air pollution becomes even more serious. So nowadays we advocate to lead alow-carbon life.

　　My suggestion is we should ride bikes more often instead of driving cars.Byriding a bike, we can not only exercise our body but also protect ourenvironment. Why not have a try, my dear friends?

　　Today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue.The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become toocrowded.

　　We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting ourenvironment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, life on earthcannot survive.

　　Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection.Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forestsand sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.

　　Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. Peopleshould be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to usemodern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycleour products. We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in thefuture.

　　今天，我們的自然環(huán)境質(zhì)量已經(jīng)成為一個重要問題。世界人口增長如此之快，世界已變得過于擁擠。

　　我們正在利用我們的自然資源，同時污染的危險化學(xué)品的'環(huán)境。如果我們繼續(xù)做這個地球上，生活無法生存。

　　Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over theworld. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe andpoisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut downand waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, whereverwe go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact,threatening our existence.

　　The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselvesand for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realizedthese problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by thegovernment. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will besolved in the near future and our home will become better and better.

　　全世界的環(huán)境問題變得越來越嚴重。例如汽車污染的空氣影響了人們的呼吸，工廠釋放污染的氣體，山上的'樹木被砍伐，污水不斷被排人河里。另外，無論我們走到哪里，到處可見隨意丟棄的垃圾。事實上，污染正威脅我們的生存。

　　There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years.One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water andsoil. the polluted air does great harm to people's health. The polluted watercauses diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reducedwith the rapid growth of modern cities.

　　To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot.Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect theforest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore,governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protectiontoday.

　　In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even moreconcrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance ofenvironmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should bemade to put the population planning policy into practice, because more peoplemeans more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy theenvironment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them knowthat destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

　　目前環(huán)保還存在著許多問題。最嚴重的問題就是空氣、水和土壤的嚴重污染。污染的空氣對人類的健康十分有害。污染的水引起疼病，造成死亡。更有甚者，隨著現(xiàn)代社會的.迅速擴建，植被大大的減少。

　　為了保護環(huán)境，各國政府做了大量的工作。采用了立法措施控制大氣污染，保護森林資源和海洋資源，制止任何環(huán)境污染。因此，在當今的環(huán)保中政府起著最重要的作用。

　　我的看法是，為了保護環(huán)境，政府應(yīng)當采取更具體的措施。首先，應(yīng)當通過的使人們充分謒到環(huán)境保護的重要性。第二，應(yīng)更加努力把計劃生育政策付諸實施，因為人口多就意味著污染嚴重。最后，要嚴懲那些故意破壞環(huán)境者。他們破壞環(huán)境就是毀滅人類自己。

　　no one，regardless of race, religion or nationality, can deny that the worldwe live in is becoming increasingly intolerable because of the effects of globalwarming. according to many experts, even greater impacts are still on theway.

　　there are numerous causes for this problem. on one hand, human-relatedemissions of carbon into the atmosphere is causing, and will in the futurecause, significant global warming according to the theory. on the other hand,the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders thesolving of the problem.

　　it is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken rightaway. first, more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify theenvironment. besides, stricter laws concerning global warming and irresponsibleuse of fuel resources have to be put into effect and achieved good results. in aword, there is a long way to go before we can take a comfortable world forgranted again .

　　many people are active in fighting against unfair treatment to coloredpeople, women , animals and so on. right now i am talking about fighting forrespect to our environment.though the environment doesn't have a mouth done todeprecate what humans have done to her, she retaliates through action. in theearly years the chinese cut down large quantities of trees, at the source of theyellow river, which led to the disappearance of big forests and terrible floods.as a result, the huangtu plateau which once was once covered with grass andforests was turned into barrens that supported fewer plants. another example wasin several developed countries.

　　because many chemical factories discharged poisonous gas without filteringit, poisonous cities were covered with so much poisonous gas that people werekilled by the air they breathed in. what horrible scene!what we are suffering isonly a small part of what the nature once suffered. if we don't take action toshow respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awfulsituation. measures should be taken to protect the environment on which we arerelying. first governments should forbid destroying vegetation, rivers andlakes, oceans, as and the atmosphere as well. second voices should be made toannounce the public of the importance of protecting the environment. thirdenterprises should pay special attention to the effect they have on theenvironment and work out solutions for the problems. only by changing the way wetreat the environment can along we get along well with it.
