Rachel Ashley Platten (born May 20, 1981) is an American singer and songwriter. Having released independent albums and singles between 2003 and 2014, Platten signed with Columbia Records in early 2015.

It has sold two million copies in the United States, earning a double platinum certification from the RIAA.
